There is no reference here to homosexuality
What have homosexuals got to be gay about?
They are a species which is incapable of natural reproduction, so are a dying species, which is fine
The use of this mis-nomer, gay, for p.....rs, d...s, f..., is quite tragic, as are those who practise such behaviour
That there is, as has been claimed, no Scripture to suggest God does NOT mind homosexual relationships as long as they abstain from sexual activity is questionable, to say the least
Could those supporting this immoral behaviour provide Scripture to support this idea please
What Christians need consider today is Lk.17:28-30 and Mat.24:21-30
From Luke we read:"Also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold..." everything was cruising along as usual, UNTIL, "But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed"
Let us consider the condition of the world today; many would deduce we are in a SODOM condition, and that means the next step is the catching away of 1 Thes.4:15-16, then cometh the falling of the fire and brimstone
There is no Scripture to suggest homosexuality, in ANY form, is acceptable to God, nor to His children, and that is why so many stand against this rapidly spreading social sickness
Causes of homosexuality, in a minute percentage, can be related to genetic defects: the majority of homosexuals and lesbians are people who consciously choose to adopt that life style for any number of reasons
Possibly because of rejection by members of the opposite sex, maybe through curiosity, surely the list of possibilities is long, but, there is still no Bible to support it, nor is it any less a perversion of natural behaviour than pedophilia, mass murder, abortion, etc. |
Your clarity on the matter is so very refreshing...and what takes the cake is ...the Gay Lobby... has succeeded
in linking their so-called" civil rights...their chosen lifestyle of doing that which is abomination before God...with the Civil Rights" EARNED by African-Americans by the lash of 300 plus years of slavery...then many years of Jim Crow. How do they make that leap with straight faces? If one of them turns around and decides to take some farm animal to lie with ...then which ethnicity gets to be paired up to that behavior? Eskimos?  |

I found their "biblical evidence" section very inspiring though I would be interested in hearing out someone who disputes their claims  |

And here is that scripture, and more, that you were asking about:
1 Corinthians 6:12
12All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. |
Translation: All things are lawful for me to do, but not all things are profitable for me, are not for my betterment, and/or do not have the intent of leading me to a good result. It is up to the individual to decide what is good for them and not good for them within their relationship with God. It is a personal relationship, is it not? |

You make me sick, I highlighted some things so that you can figure out why... ""so-called" civil rights"" We are taught in America the land of the free that there is equality in our country. This is a load of crap and there is nothing wrong with people trying to get what is rightfully theirs. "chosen" lifestyle? Who or exactly what type of genius scientist do you think you are to decide that it is a chosen lifestyle!? "EARNED" their civil rights with lashes, slavery, and jim crow? That is so twisted it makes me dizzy with anger. Abuse, slavery, and jim crow were detestable things done to black people in American history and are not the way they "EARNED" their rights! Their civil right were awarded to them once we as a nation became educated enough to put a stop to the madness. My point being in America civil rights are not earned they are God given! "decides to take some farm animal to lie with" We are talking about two HUMAN BEINGS' relations and if your sick mind takes that to a human and a animal then maybe you should a therapist...  |
