Neither did I before I became one Wink

One of the reasons I became a CWO was to better specialize in my field, and have a little more freedom to run things the way I thought they should be run (as much as one can in the military).

Cheifs always seemed to be the lesser of the two evils... Laughing however, the still resided on the 'dark side'.

When I was in 5SFG I became pretty good friends with one... he was soooo laid back.... but tougher than wood-pecker-lips... you would never associate the two together.

We have (had I guess would be more appropriate now) a particularly unique place in the army. Since the focus for a CW is specialization and technical expertise and not command, we were able to be more laid back. I found that people working with us respected us for our knowledge and skills and so a command respect wasn't always necessary.

I know in my case my team did what I said when I said, how I said with never a question or complaint. It kept them alive for the most part and they understood that.
