This is nothing new; in fact, I'm surprised it's taken this long. The Palestinians have been using children for a long time. It's a pretty effective strategy that drove the Israelis crazy. You can't shoot back at rock throwers, but you also can't let them have free reign. The Israelis mostly just responded with riot gear and tear gas. |

This is the 'kinder' 'gentler' Army.
Kids were throwing rocks at us in 2003 and 2004... but it was only a few of them in certain parts of the cites.
Sadr City is not a great place to be... this is where their shrine for Ali (Mohamed's nephew) is... probably the most sacred place in Iraq for the Shiite. The simple solution to this problem is to have Iraqi soldiers out on these check points... but then again... who wants to be a soldier in an Army that will not be supported with the threat of our forces being pulled out from underneath them...
At least they weren't called Nazi's by anyone here... that is always a bonus. |

We had two throw grenades at us. Standing in front of a fortified position like shields....
Sadly it is much worse now, 10 year old girls approach checkpoints with pipe bombs, grenades, and stuff tied around their waists.... |

the simple solution would be to tell the trth for a change tri...but since that is sooooo hard for you...too bad...
and why would anyone call a soldier who is defending his own homeland a nazi...they are not goose stepping around the globe in conquest... |

Yes..its very sad that they have brainwashed there children into doing such horrible things. I think it is important to keep children out of such things. Pickiting is much the same in my mind. I dont think you should strap signs to your child and have them promot your cause. Thats for you to do, and your child is not old enough to have there own opinion yet...
its just not right |
