Yes, your responses are.
quote | Quote: | | At first I was concerned by someone, actually a few someones, coming in and spouting all this hatred. |
What hatred? I haven't read any. Well, other than Ron, Sara and your fallacious arguments (i.e., Appeals to Emotion, Appeals to Ridicule, etc.).
quote | Quote: | | But in the enormous amount of energy and emotion portrayed, I think it is ultimately speaking for itself. |
And your lame response here speaks volumes about you.
quote | Quote: | | How can one come into a facility, telling everyone they are complete idiots and have no bit of intellectual ability, expect the accused to react? |
Where has anyone been specifically called an "idiot" or having "no" intellectual ability?
quote | Quote: | | Sure we can rant and rave of all the eons of data that supports the bible as fact. |
Now this is comical. I'm still waiting for this data and have yet to see any.
quote | Quote: | Anyway, if I haven't asked yet ( ) why are you here, anyway? |
Look at the top left corner of your screen. What does it say? (HINT: Bible DISCUSSION)
Why don't you try addressing the valid points, questions and evidence I have presented instead of addressing the messenger (i.e., ad hominem argument). Or are you just as insecure as Ron is in your faith/belief?

This is all becoming quite comical.
At first I was concerned by someone, actually a few someones, coming in and spouting all this hatred.
But in the enormous amount of energy and emotion portrayed, I think it is ultimately speaking for itself.

Sure we can rant and rave of all the eons of data that supports the bible as fact. But that will never work, as Ron so wonderfully put it. Because:
#1 If everything we said were 100% true, you still wouldnt believe. As Ron said again, you cannot debate your intellect into believing. There were thousands of people that seen Christ do myriads of things that no human could do, yet thought he was probably mad. Anyone can justify anything. It takes more than head knowledge. (Sorry my intellectually superior friends...)
#2 With so many things yet unproven either way, both sides will cling to their facts, and reject the other. See how faith again comes into play? It's a decision. Not brain power. Otherwise, Einstein wouldn't have fought so hard to prove the nonexistance of God, and finally said, "...I just want to know what He was thinking when He created it..." (probably my paraphrased version)
One thing I totally love about science is that the more we know, the more we understand how incredibly complex it all is, and how completely hardheaded someone has to be to believe it is all an accident. Wow, what an accident!
Anyway, if I haven't asked yet ( ) why are you here, anyway? |

| Attacks, attacks, attacks. This is your response to someone trying to put forth a different point of view. Your mind says "Lets get nasty with'em. We'll show'em!".You see, I was absolutely right when I said you were not interested in conversation. Just keep on attacking, attacking, attacking. Anyone reading your posts will readily glean exactly your point of view and its TRUE origin. As they would glean from ours that it is motivations of a pure heart that we share the inspired Word of God. |

The truth is ou there for sure.
I wish you all the best in trying to get people to belive your side of the story. i will do my best to do what God has commanded me to do and to be. I guess we will find out when the Lord comes back who was right.
I do recent that you call my God a murder. I do belive God gave us a choice. He gave us the responsibility to make our own choice, as you are making by posting here. It has and will always be the choice of man to murder or do good. It will also be mans choice to accept God or not, to belive or not, to love or not.
Please do not insult my God for the sake of making a point.
Nate

It's not an insult if it is true.
God is a murderer! I have posted sufficient information proving this, to include His own Words as it is clearly written in The Bible.

I still love you guys. Even if you think the bible is all wrong.
I'll pray for you. I wish you would do the same for me since I'm wrong.
Take care.
Matt

[pi answers]You're a legend in your own mind Ron.
Thank you for your comments in support of your attacks. I appreciate you helping to shed light on your own misunderstandings. This only helps others to see your true nature. Thanks again. |

Being condescending is not an attack. It's a comment describing the obvious observation.
Ron...you really need to brush up on your English writing skills. Pay close attention to semantics, context and syntax. It might help you in future discussions with those who do and/or do not believe. |

He Matt. Thought I would check it all out here. I am not sure how to reply here. My feeling tells me to jump in and react to all the things beeing said. All I can do is pray and ask God to open some eyes.
Apperently a lot of you know the bible by hart. probably better than I do. i feel you have made (my) God into some theoretical formula. God is Love, he came to die on the cross so that we could live in his house. What proof do you need.
The bible states that to become part of the fam. you schould aknowlidge you are a sinner, repent your sins, ask God to take place in your haert. Ask God to START to change you life.
I dare you to pray that prayer and really believe God will do a work in your life. I know he will prove himnself to be tru.
I agree with Matt, there is a lot of ėmotions'going on here. MPI, You really remind me of my fahter. He was a christian for 40 years and came to a point that he fell back. After he stopt going to the church he started commenting to everything we (his children) would say.
He new the truth but he was hurted so badly by the people going to church, he could not see the love of God any more. I would chalenge you to search te Love of God instead of written proof. When you find the love, you will find rest in your mind...

No...Christ died on the Cross not God. Furthermore, anyone can say or write anything. It takes a lot more to prove it. By your (il)logic Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon would be equally true. I mean after all, what proof do you need?

The bible says...the bible says...yadda yadda yadda. One important thing you and the others keep overlooking is the bible also says God created evil (which contradicts his omnipotence, omnicience and omnibenevolence), God murdered and asked others to murder in his stead.
quote | Quote: | | I dare you to pray that prayer and really believe God will do a work in your life. I know he will prove himnself to be tru. |
Why would I want to let a confessed murder into my life? I might as well invite Charles Manson over for dinner.

I would challenge you to search the truth of extraterrestrials, unicorns and dragons instead of written or empirical evidence. When you find them you'll find that the "Truth is Out There". |

Magnum,
You still on this kick that God murders just like humans do? And what is this that God didn't die on the cross but Christ? Same thing. |

It's not a kick. It's the truth, written in black and white in The Bible.
No...not the same thing. Big difference. Not only are you ignorant of human development so are you of your own religion. LOL!!

Many nonbeievers think this way Sara. The trinity is so misunderstood, even among believers. I like to expalin it this way: Lets take the creation for example; God thought it, Jesus spoke it; the Holy Spirit made it happen. When we look at man we see the same " Let Us create him in Our image". Man also has three parts; the body; the soul; the spirit. The soul is the God-concious; the spirit is what keeps him in the light of God; the body is used for interacting the soul and the spirit in this worldly realm. No other animal on earth has God-conciousness. Yes, God was on the Cross. As was Jesus as wqas the Holy Spirit. God Bless you Sara. |
