I just found your web site today. What a blessing. I am in need of the prayers of my brothers and sisters. I have lost the third job in less than three months this week.
Yes, I have trouble holding a job. I am physically, emotionally, and mentally disabled. I was raised in an occult setting. Those people have tried to control every area of my life. They test my faith, but God is bigger. My employment or lack there of seems to be a favorite target of theirs lately. I believe God is using this to expose who they are and what they are doing.
I am unable to find help anywhere but God. (He wants it that way) Seeking any kind of help from man puts them in danger. I depend a lot on the prayers of strangers. May God bless them one hundred fold the blessings that they are to me.
I am asking for prayers for just about everything imaginable. A job, finances, healing, deliverance, and justice against the wicked. Pray for their other victims as well. God bless you.

Psalms - Chapter 35
[[[A Psalm] of David.]] Plead [my cause], O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
Draw out also the spear, and stop [the way] against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I [am] thy salvation.
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase [them].
Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
For without cause have they hid for me their net [in] a pit, [which] without cause they have digged for my soul.
Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
All my bones shall say, LORD, who [is] like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge [things] that I knew not.
They rewarded me evil for good [to] the spoiling of my soul.
But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing [was] sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
I behaved myself as though [he had been] my friend [or] brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth [for his] mother.
But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: [yea], the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew [it] not; they did tear [me], and ceased not:
With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.
Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: [neither] let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against [them that are] quiet in the land.
Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, [and] said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen [it].
[This] thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, [even] unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify [themselves] against me.
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long.

Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement. I have always been able to 'feel' the prayers of the saints. What peace and hope comes from it!
Lone, When I read your post, I thought "Oh wow!" Psalm 35 is one that the Lord gave to me as a child, and one of the things He taught me was that when He said to "Pray for your enemies" was to pray the same way that David prayed for His enemies.
My heart longs for that day when He seperates the wicked from the righteous. Until then, it is so good to know that there are indeed still those on earth that are after Gods own heart.

Thanks for your prayers! I got a job. Very Happy Mat 10:8 ... freely ye have received, freely give. I will be offering a prayer of thanksgiving today for all of those who have prayed for me, one hundredfold blessings on all!
The new job pays more, is closer to home, and fits my limited abilities.
I will also be praying for all of those who are going through that valley of unemployment. God is faithful.

Mine too Gabby..

that psalm still stands as strong today as it did yesterday...

God Bless

Isa 50:4 ¶ The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to [him that is] weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
Isa 50:5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
Isa 50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

Isa 50:7 ¶ For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Isa 50:8 [He is] near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who [is] mine adversary? let him come near to me.
Isa 50:9 Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who [is] he [that] shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
Isa 50:10 ¶ Who [is] among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh [in] darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

God bless you all for your prayers! You folks (even with all of our squabbling) have been a true blessing to me.
Today seems to be the epitome of a day that the devil hoped to design for me. (Job hunting, car trouble) The worse the circumstances get, the tighter I hold on to Jesus. It is the very thing that keeps me close to the Lord. Exclamation
I came home this evening feeling exhausted. I turned on Christian TV and fell asleep in the chair. I woke up to a preacher screaming "It is when the devil attacks that you become stronger!"

Psalms 119:71 [It is] good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

Someone told me once that if the devil had any sense, he would make sure that we all had nice homes, good jobs, and good cars. (Instead of trying to destroy all of those things.) That way no one would ever turn to God.
He does not yet realize that God is with me, and the attacks are making me stronger. He has been giving me comfort and strength. God is faithful.
I guess the devil thinks he is going to wear me down. He has me backed up against the Red Sea, and the Pharaohs army approaches. Surely he thinks he has me where he wants me.

Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

Psa 27:1 ¶ [[[A Psalm] of David.]] The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psa 27:2 When the wicked, [even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Psa 27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this [will] I [be] confident.

Psa 27:4 One [thing] have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Psa 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Psa 27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

God Bless Gabby!!

Deu 23:5 Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.

Better job. Laughing Better pay. Shocked

I have no doubt that God brings me into places for a purpose, and He calls me out of them when He is through with me there. It is the being between that is the valley. And it is in the valley that He lets me know that He is with me always.
