Are we god?
If you desire to be, but you will die like mere men.
Jesus is God from the beginning to end, we accepted God through Jesus Christ.
Do you understand the difference? |

Skaterboy,
Welcome to the forum, but if you look at the date of the post to which you replied, you’ll find it was posted way last December 20, and Psalm109:31 hasn’t been active on the forum since December 31st (the date of his last post). It is likely you won’t receive a reply – but hey, who knows.
The topic, of course, regards two passages of scripture:
(Psalms 82:6) I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
(John 10:34, 35) Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Many Christians just ignore them, some re-write the text to suit their ideas, and some use these passages to support the most bizarre kinds of doctrines. If nothing else, though, one would think the Sons of God would not be monkeys or dolphins or giraffes or men, but as the offspring of sheep are sheep, the offspring of God would be gods (to some extent, even if adopted as Sons).
(2 Corinthians 5:17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Yehu |

If God has offspring that can be called the Sons of God, then can they grow up to be like him? Can they have offspring too? Could God's grandsons become like God too? Does God have a female counterpart to help him create offspring? If not, then why didn't God make us all that way too? Aren't we created in him image?
Just some questions to ponder. |

If that's the case then we have A LOT of growing-up still ahead of us to do. |
