bible study

Hi sriks8 Welcome to our board.
Our Discussion board crashed early in January. We've only been back a week or so. We haven't got a study started yet since we got back!
We'll more than likely get one started soon.
In the meantime you might as well get aquainted with the rest of the board family!! Very Happy

I have your name here on this post. I will post a notice on the board when we get ready to get a study together.

Nobby, I'm contemplating studies as we speak. I'll try to come up with some ideas and throw them out there for input in the next few days.

I'm thinking of a doctrinal study of sorts, any ideas, anyone?

Me from india. I do quite like this forum and am looking forward to meaningful time here. I love bible studies and that too with a like-minded group.

So, what do i do now? will wait till thins settle down. What other activity going one? How do i get acquainted with people here?

Just go to "Noah's Lounge" forum & type is the Subject Box: "Hello I'm New Here" That usually gets their attention. Very Happy

Then just tell them about yourself. That's usually a good place to start! Very Happy

Since I'm new, I am not sure where I should be. Or how these Bible studies go.

All teh otehr forums I've been on they had a section Bible studies. I just wrote an article explaining a certain topic and posted it. Others could comment on it. One I wrote was "Jesus is the Word of God". Another in OT was "Noah & His Big Boat". etc.

I do use a lot of scriptures in them and often go to scriptures in other parts of the Bible. I haven't checked everything out yet and I don't know where to start to get oriented.

Help! Help! I would like to join if I knew what I was supposed to do.

Thanks for your help. It helps me write when I get input from others. But the Holy Spirit leads me into all truth.

Hi TR. There are different sections on the board. Christian fellowship would be for posts that would invite comment, but not debate. The debate section is kinda self explanitory and anything posted there is fair game. The private bible studies are more structured and you have to sign up for those as they are not viewable to everyone. Mosey around and get a feel for it. We're pretty easygoing, but no long copy pastes, or articles.

O.K. Thanks. I'm still not sure but I don't think I want in any debates.
Study on James would be good. I think I saw somewhere you mentioned about studying topics. I might even like that one better.

One thing I do know I would like to get in on a study at the very beginning. Is tehre ay just starting soon? Thanks TR
