There is only one God, creator of heaven and earth.
There is no other God beside him.
This is the first commandment.

Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD:
Deu 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deu 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

Deu 6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Deu 6:8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

Deu 6:9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Deu 6:10 And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,

Deu 6:11 And houses full of all good [things], which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;

Deu 6:12 [Then] beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Deu 6:13 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

Deu 6:14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which [are] round about you;

Deu 6:15 (For the LORD thy God [is] a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

does God change?

2Ki 19:15 And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest [between] the cherubims, thou art the God, [even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

Psa 86:10 For thou [art] great, and doest wondrous things: thou [art] God alone.

Isa 37:16 O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest [between] the cherubims, thou [art] the God, [even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

golfjack you don't need to say anything God already has.

Who is the God of this world?
Who holds all authority over the kingdoms of this world?

What does God say?

You believe that homosexuality is against the law of God...
Believe the first one also.

notice please that this law is to be in thine heart.

did he not put them there the day he gave them?

Deu 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
Deu 6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Lone, we all will be held accountable to God. Let's see what scripture says about Homosexuality. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 says there will be perilous times in the last days. Verse 3 talks about without natural affection (homosexuality). I ask you, who is the god of this world? The devil is very busy right now because he knows his time is short. 1 John talks about anti-christ evil spirits. Do I need to say more?

May God bless, golfjack

We've been in the last days for 2000 years, so I don't worry too much [not at all]...

I like this attitude I heard a priest say. "Believe this. The end of the world is going to come in your lifetime. When you die, that's the end of the world for you".

Death do not scare me Smile

I look forward to the big void once I've lived my life on earth.

I'm betting on something which is always better than betting on nothing.
Not only that, I feel quite secure in my choice.

What if the god that actually exists takes offense that you believed in a false god, but allows those who didn't believe at all a reprieve?

I think He left us information through His word and deeds so we are sure of our direction. Besides, it's written in our hearts. If He forgives the unbliever, what concern is it of mine?
What in your opinion might constitute a false god? Money? Power? Pride?

That's where atheists go when their "earth-suit" wears out. Laughing

What's the matter with you!?! Death scares the #$%& out of me! It's one of the real down-sides of being an atheist...

I try really hard not to think about death. It's a horrible thing. The inevitability of it is enough to make me depressed.

So did Zeus. So did Mithra. So did Odin. So did Allah.

Really? Why, then, are there relatively few Christians? Why are their numbers shrinking?

Nonexistence, which seems to have swept like plague throughout the ranks of gods throughout history. Hopefully it's just a matter of time before it overcomes the last of them.
