According to pre-trib doctrine there is a resurrection for some before the tribulation and another one at the end.
Isn't there a scripture somewhere about adding to God's Word?

Is that the very, very last day ever, or what? Sorry, I don't mean to be glib but I have heard alot of people talk about the last day,the last trump, ect. I believe the rapture of the saints is pre trib because of the lesson God taught Moses in the secound striking of "The Rock". Moses was forbiden to enter the promise land for disobeying God when his anger at the people clouded his judgment and he struck "The Rock"(the type of Christ) after God told him to speak to The Rock and out would come water. The body of Christ was to be smitten only once. This somewhat harsh punishment of Moses was God entering in and giving us a good clue to this point. |

John 6:49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
Jesus speaking to the Jews
John 6:50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
Again, Jesus is speaking to the Jews and the time their forefathers, Jews, were kept alive during their wilderness wanderings.
John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Speaking still to the Jews He begins with an analogy followed with a promise of "I WILL" referring to a time in the future.
John 6:52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
The Jews were having difficulty with this analogy.
John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Still speaking to the Jews Jesus was further expounding on the analogy.
John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Obviously, we know Jesus' words here were directed TO the Jews and that those who accepted Him would be resurrected at the last day. The question that arises, however, was He referring to all men or just the Jews to whom He was talking to.
Revelation 20:4-6, "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."
There are those, the martyrs, that are resurrected first and reign with Christ a thousand years and judge (Rev 20:11-13) according to their works those in Christ who are still sleeping; and then, when that thousand years is up the rest of the dead (sleeping) in Christ that are sleeping (buried) in the sea and the beneath the earth are resurrected.
