Do you think maybe the Tax systems that are in place around the world represent the tithing systems of religion?

How can you be a cheerful giver if they are taking most of what you earn?
And then they turn around and fund technology instead of taking care of the health system, unemployment, homeless.

You have to wonder, are we just being kept around to fund certain programs?
I believe that the exhortation for women not to teach was so they could stay home and raise their children. But Lo and Behold, the economy got so bad that men and women were both required to work just to keep the family alive. Sometimes even the children are sent out into the fields to work.
It used to be a choice, but now it is a neccesity.
Do you see greed?
It's not just here in the US it's around the whole world.

Ten percent that's all God wanted. What is man up to now? forty, fifty...
Do you see where your money goes?
In the old testament when people brought their tithes and offerings they sat down together and shared.
They knew where the works of their labor went. Do we?
