Well, what do you believe? I chose God, and believe that Jesus Christ with His finished work on the cross defeated the enemy, He gave us forgiveness of sin and the free gift of salvation by His grace through faith that we may be part of the family of God. You see, the Bible states we have to believe this and confess this belief with our mouths,
May God bless, golfjack |

I think we are attacked in our weak spot or soft spot. So yes That information would have to be obtained some how, maybe he reads our minds or maybe he just knows us really well through observation What we cherish most is what he's looking for! |

No ... but he is a student of the arts.
That means that he is a voyer.
He watches what we do, he hears what we say and listens.
He has a lot to lose and is very observant.
Luciferian thinking has spread and he has witnesses tattling on everyone.

How would he be able to possess someone if it was that he couldn't read into one's mind? Maybe he can only see so much externally, he can in a way see much more into the person internally than we are thought to think. I think a lot of what we possess internally is conformed to that of the outer-world. We can see a lot what one truly cares about by observing what and how much of what he posits into his day. I would imagine the Devil being extremely observant, I would take that to being a bit mind-readingish... I have a few questions about Satan actually that I would very much appreciate response to:
1. Is Satan omnipresent?
2. Does he still possess people?
3. Is he going to enjoy Hell even though he made it? Did he make it or did God?
4. Why does he go out of his way to rebel?
5. Is he going to die, and if he's going to die, then who is going to manage Hell if it is to be said that Hell is the very absence of God's presence? I mean if God doesn't control it, especially if he is not to be there in governing, who then will be?
You guys are awesome thanks. |

Heh, does Satan put thoughts in our mind?
Or does he just tempt us & the thoughts are all ours? |

If Satan could read minds, we would all be in trouble. Of course satan can tempt us, but Jesus defeated him when He rose again on the third day. Have you ever had crazy thoughts? I bet you we all do. If he didn't even know who the Son of God was, how could he read our minds. We ourselves can give him access, by doing a particular act of sin. He can get acess by what we watch on T.V. or what proceeds out of our mouths. Remember that we have the Mind of Christ. There are many things that give Satan access, and one of the biggest ways is through fear, which is the opposite of faith. Actually, fear is a sin. So what do we do as Christians? We have the authority to use the name of Jesus, and when he hears that Mighty name, he must flee from us. I myself like to look for him and trample the little pip squeak down. He is a defeated foe, But lives in this World and is on a short leash. As his time is near, God will him to do evil things like hurricane Katrina. We are in the day of sorrows or birth pains (Luke 21). When the Church, which is the restrainer, leaves, then all hell breaks loose. If I wasn't saved, I wouldn't put it off.
Have a great day in the Lord Nobby, golfjack |

Hi Nobby, thanks for your post (encouraging). Yes, we are pretty close in age. You are doing great work for the Body of Christ by encouraging all regardless of denominational backgrounds. You are giving hope to many people around the world. I don't know if I am suppose to do this, but allow me to give a little of my background or brief testimony. I was saved in 1979, but knew very little about the Bible. My Baptist friend give a tract from Billy Graham. I was born and raised a Catholic, going to all Catholic schools, even Catholic University. At that time, I was never told to read a Bible. Don't get me wrong because I don't like to Catholic bash. However they told about God, but I didn't really know God. Today, I believe many Catholics are saved, and many are not, just like any other denomination. I went to a few Baptist Bible studies, but since they were always aruging with Pentacostals about praying in the Spirit, and hadn't a clue what they were talking about, I stopped going and floundered in ignorance for about 19 Years. I love the Baptists. They just have a different form of church governance. Eventually, I moved to Tuscon and joined a non-denominational spirit-filled church. My Pastor encouraged me to study the Bible. I was really thirsty for the Word. Then eventually graduated from Rhema Bible correspondance school and now am an evangelist. So, I believe we are never too old to do the work of God. Yes, Jesus is number in my life. I believe as we know Him Better, we love Him more and more. If it wasn't for Jesus in my life, I don't know where I would be. But that is the past, and believe satan uses the past to condemn us, but after one is saved, the Father doesn't even know your past because of the blood of Jesus. Praise God, Allejuiah.
May God bless you and your ministry, golfjack |
