"I'm trying to find the correct name for it ... this utter absolute, asinine, idiotic stupidity of men marrying men. ... I've never seen a man in my life I wanted to marry. And I'm gonna be blunt and plain; if one ever looks at me like that, I'm gonna kill him and tell God he died."

What was the point of posting this quote? To show how personal Mr. Swaggart is making his views on gay marriage? To show that he himself is not gay (and that's why he's never seen a man he wants to marry)? To show that he will not exercise self control (a fruit of the Spirit) if he is ever looked at "like that"? To show that he possibly doesn't think God would know what REALLY happened once he (Swaggart) killed the man who looked at him "like that"? Need I say more?

Much love though:)

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ

They are here to teach us the difference between the Light and the darkness.

To try us, so that we will be true to God and not follow after unrighteousness. Some are weak and they fall and follow and are decieved. Some are made stronger by them by conscience and conviction.

They were made for the very things that they are doing. and they will be judged according to their works too.

It is our responsibility to keep ourselves from them, to be a light that shines on them and reproves them. So that maybe through shame and embarresment they will see their wrong doing.

Also we are to be a light to those who are weak, and to show up the works of darkness.

However, there are still many weak minded people in the world, and until the time is right they will be evil still.

Only God can change those that were preselected for this task.

Amen?!!

A reference?

Would watching him walk around saying it be enough for you?

Video of the statement in question.

Mat 12:37: For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Haha fun quote. In the guy's defense, it's apparently something he says completely tongue in cheek. His friends came to his defense saying that he'll often refer to things/people who bother him and say he'll "kill them and tell god he died" facetiously, since he is well aware that the god he sells is omnipotent.

I think it's funny anyway...

He seems to be quite serious there. That kind of extremist thinking really does frighten and disgust me.

Nice post Lone ... an objective view and behavior is mandate on this matter.

I wish that mr. swaggart would finally make a stand on something ( and live like it ).

If that video fell into the hands of a a ballistic believer and follower of mr. swaggart, someone would likely get hurt, maybe an innocent person.

Some people think it's humorous to play gay for entertainment. mr. swaggart and FFT might just kill him, thinking it was real, and let God sort em out.

PS Prizon is full of gays, *Man's Man*, dykes, fairies and regular crimenals who take pleasure in bashing other men with rape and assorted beatings.

ANY murder will put you there.

PS PS That video is like a training film for hate crimes. I believe that al quada uses similar methods to train non lethal people into terrorists.

question: what is mr. swaggarts position on hiring prostitutes to manually gratify a male customer?

Do you seriously think I was supporting his insane beliefs?

Prison is full of rapists. Rape is not about sex, it is about control. The sex of the victim isn't very important.

Are you serious? You really think that sane people are going to be victimized by this?

Sane people ... are the perfect target for hate crimes and terrorist attack.

They ( generally speaking ) are not looking for it.

FFT you might consider using a disclaimer

Notice the silence of the chattering classes when after they demand documentation you produce it. Very Happy

I haven't seen a Jimmy Swaggart performance in a long time. It was somewhat pathetic; God knows we are all going to decline after we get past our primes. In a way he still has elements of charisma. The nature of his remarks on the topic, personalization of himself as an object of others' lusts and so forth were kind of cute in their anachronism. What was disturbing at all was the nature and timing of the applause. There's still a lot of hate out there to overcome. Swaggart is widely regarded as a joke in evangelical circles these days but he still has a fan base. God bless him. When you contrast him with his hard-livin' cousins, Rocker Jerry Lee Lewis and Country Star Mickey Gilley the contrast is not so much that they took different paths as just different variations of the same path. I'll never foget one time when I saw him on "Crossfire" (Is that still on?) and he said "My family invented the rock and roll beat!" That was classic Swaggart.

I was wondering if "PS Prizon" was a nickname for an institution like Reading Gaol, Sing Sing, Angola, Huntsville, Joliet, Attica, Raiford, etc., then it hit me he meant "post script".

Yes, there are homosexuals in prisons (interesting colorful names you used there) as well as heterosexuals but rape is always a crime of violence, not a sexual crime, regardless where it occurs. OTOH don't believe the hype. Masturbation is probably occurring in correctional facilities a few hundred million times more often. Not all prison "fairies" are as silly as Tracy Morgan was in The Longest Yard and not all prison "dykes" are as self-absorbed as Michelle Pfeiffer was in White Oleander either. If Hollywood can't get Christianity right what makes you think they know about prison? Smile
