AMK, Yes, it's very apparent what you did wrong in your first attempt!
The way you did it:
Biblegateway.com]Link
[ url=http://Biblegateway.com]Link
Above isthe correct way, only don't leave a space between the first bar [ & url (this is only so I can show it to you)
Now remove the second ] & replace with
= OK?
Also You left out part of the address! http://
Link
ATK, I hope this helps! If not send me a PM.
I'ts not as hard as it looks! |

I guess I am blonder than I thought. I cannot make it look right. I practiced by trying what you said and then 'previewing' my post but it is not working.
I do this at work with 'article manager' but it's a different program and maybe that's what's throwing me.
Do you have a dumbed-down step-by-step to posting links? I would like to be able to post a site address and override it with my description like here. Is there a way to do that? I know that's a silly question as I have seen others on this site do it.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Love, Luv

Luv, in the bottom of your post above.
I have posted the same link twice.
The second one, I gave it the color blue!
Now you can go back to your post & click on edit & you can see exactly how I did it. don't leave any of it out or it won't work.
PS: Sense your editing, just go down below where I did it & try it a few times! Use the Preview button to see how you do!

| Has the upload for Submit Articles been fixed? It was not working a couple weeks ago. And if we submit an Article or Bible Study that we wrote there, can we then Reference a url link to it in our posts on the Discussion board? |
